LIT was designed to empower girls to reach their fullest potential through skill building, mentoring, and self-discovery. Our goal is to connect our young ladies with as many community resources and women as possible throughout their LIT journey. These connections will be instrumental in the growth and development of our young ladies as they navigate through the many twists and turns that life will bring.
The program requires a yearlong commitment from both the parent and student.
LIT retreat will be held July 22nd through July 26th from 9am-4pm at the Neighborhood Center. There is no cost to participate.
Upon completion of the Retreat, the young ladies will meet monthly from September – June and will be able to apply for scholarships to use for program fees related to extracurricular activities.
